Agriculture is another important part of Angolan economy especially crops like maize beans and cassava But it’s worth noting that most agricultural production is consumed locally leaving little room for export And due to civil war from 1975 to 2002 many farms were abandoned or destroyed leading to food insecurity in some areas The international community has provided aid but more efforts are needed to address these ongoing challenges
