Imagine being able to drive to work, but instead of crawling through traffic, you soar above it all. Sounds like science fiction, right? Well, not anymore. Flying cars are no longer just a pipe dream and companies like Uber and Lockheed Martin are investing heavily in making them a reality.

One such company, Terrafugia, has already begun production on its Transition flying car. This vehicle can convert from a car to an airplane in under 2 minutes, allowing drivers to take to the skies when the road gets congested.

But what about safety? Don’t worry, flying cars are being designed with multiple redundancies and fail-safes to prevent accidents. In fact, many prototypes have already successfully completed test flights.

As the world’s population continues to grow and urban areas become increasingly crowded, flying cars could be just what we need to keep traffic moving and reduce congestion. Just think about it – no more parking headaches or stressful commutes. With flying cars, the sky really will be the limit!
